Opinions

Bardan says : The Kensai is certainly the best fighter kit if all you are interested in doing is dishing out obscene amounts of damage. If you're just looking for a straight fighter with no dual/multi-classes, go for the Half Orc. Dual weild longswords for maximum weapon selection, or go for hammers and flails for the RuneHammer and Flail of Ages once you get to ToB.

Don't let the bad AC fool you - just delay his entrance into melee a little bit, and have him focus on the enemy flanks while a suitably armoured tank soaks up the attacks. Don't bother with Single Weapon Style. A second weapon's benefit far outweighs an AC point or two in the long run.
