Description
This druid closely identifies with a particular animal, an animal that he feels represents his spirit. This grants him a special connection to the animal kingdom, and he is able to call upon their spirits to aid him..
Advantages:
- May summon a special 'spirit' animal once per day per 5 levels of experience. Spirit animal is randomly selected from 'Spirit Bear', 'Spirit Wolf', 'Spirit Lion' and 'Spirit Snake'.
Disadvantages:
- Cannot shapeshift.

Opinions
Bardan says : Stronger than a vanilla Druid, the Totemic Druid is not as weak as first may seem. Keep him out of melee (as with all druids), as his bad AC and shield will get him battered. Instead, use him as a summoner, summoning the spirit animals (which aren't bad at all) and the normal Druid summons - elementals, nymphs etc. Not at all bad as a backup/summoner, really.
