Anomen can be found in the Copper Coronet in the Slums

Biography

When asked about his past, ANOMEN is quick to state that he has been serving the Most Noble Order of the Radiant Heart for years, and after his Test he will be a full and true knight. Anomen is reluctant, however, to speak of his noble upbringing, saying only that he entered the Order without the support of his father, Lord Cor Delryn. Since he could not be sponsored as a squire, Anomen chose the route of the warrior and priest of Helm, the god of guardians, and has fought many battles over the years against forces of evil. Anomen often says that he is confident that he will prove worthy of his knighthood, but sometimes seems to be trying to convince himself of that fact more than anyone.

Special

Anomen is a romance option for a Female PC of the following races - Human, Elf, Half-Elf, Halfling
In the course of the romance, Anomen can gain +4 Wis, become Lawful Good and become "Sir Anomen"

Bardan says, "Anomen is perhaps the most despised character in the entire game. He is arrogant, self-obsessed and foolish. Oh, and judgemental too. He is not a good cleric, having a wisdom of 12. However, he is not beyond redemption. During the game, especially if you romance him, you will find out about his abusive father and you will come to understand him a bit better. It will be part of your job to lead him through a growth process that will benefit you both.

Anomen is stronger than your average cleric in melee, as his dual-class status gives him advanced weapon specialisation. Anomen can be buffed up in plate armour, dual-weilding maces, or flails and maces. I would recommend getting him as many stars in dual-weild, warhammer and flail as possible, then set him loose with the Flail of Ages, and Crom Faeyr (to be replaced with the Runehammer). Once his Wisdom hits 16, he is a decent cleric, and can buff himself and others with the usual Resist Fear/Bless/Chant/Protection from Evil combo. Actually quite a strong character near the end of the game if you can compensate for his hideous dexterity score with some dexterity-raising item. This will improve his AC tremendously."

Kothoses says, "Anomen - the one time disintigration as a spell is worth having. I hate having him in my party and tolerate him only for his interesting sub quests. A word of advice - don't even consider having him UNLESS you take Jan Jansen. Jan's banters with Anomen and Keldorn make them both just about tolerable, the Flesh Golem story especially"
