Where he is

Keldorn can be found In the sewers, preparing to enter the Unseeing Eye lair

Biography

When asked about his past, Keldorn sighs and is forced to think for a moment before counting the number of years he has been a paladin of Torm in the service of the Most Noble Order of the Radiant Heart. He has battled to protect the defenseless and punish the evil on more occasions than he can recall. A seasoned veteran with the scars to prove it, Keldorn speaks wistfully of retirement in the future and the opportunity to spend more time with his family. Upon their mention, however, Keldorn's attention wanders and grows grim. Duty is more important than personal considerations, he whispers harshly, so long as the Order has need of him.

Special

Keldorn has his own quest involving his family in the Government District.

Bardan says, "Whereas Jan was simply insane, Keldorn is insanely powerful. His Inquisitor kit is the best of the Paladin kits, and it is combined with a strong stat line, making Keldorn one of the best NPC's in the game.

Keldorn cannot cast spells, nor turn undead or lay on hands, but these are minor sacrifices. Let Clerics take care of the spells and the healing - Keldorn is here for one main purpose - to slay magic users. In fact, his kit makes him damn good at it. His innate dispel magic is cast at twice his actual level, meaning that it almost always succeeds to wipe out enemy magic-user's protections (and your own, if your aim is bad). He also has innate True Sight. No more needs to be said about that powerful and essential spell.

Keldorn can weild Carsomyr +5 or The Purifier and a shield, depending on how you want him. His stats ensure his melee ability is good, but his Dexterity is horrible. Equip Bracers of Dexterity and watch his AC plunge. Equipment should be a no-brainer. A Paladin sword, the best armour you can find, and a couple of rings to give him resistances or to give him regeneration. That's all you need to know. Just go unleash him on the enemy ;)

On the personality side, Keldorn will not get on with Viconia. He is a righteous and decidedly good individual, and will not accept you taking evil decisions. Tread with a bit of care if you're neutral or evil, but for a good party, Keldorn is essential if your PC is not a Paladin."
