Korgan can be found drinking in the Copper Coronet |
Biography When asked about his past, Korgan growls that unless you want to end up like the members of his last scum-sucking, traitorous party, you'd best keep your over-curious nose to yourself. Seeing as the dwarf is only slightly short of a necklace of ears in proving his enjoyment of slaughter, you decide to obey his request. |

Korgan has his own quest - recover the Book of Kaza |
| Bardan says, "Korgan is a bloodthirsty, mercenary piece of trash. He is also the second-best tank in the entire game. A strong tanking stat-line and a 19 constitution give him hard hitting power and a mass of hitpoints. Equipping Korgan is not at all a difficult task. Give him the best plate armours and a shield, and a few good axes (Stonefire, Frostreaver, Throwing Axes), and let him unleash hell on your enemies. Give him the Red Dragon Plate, shield and helmet to make him invulnerable to fire, as well as to lower his AC. His already decent Dexterity can be further bolstered by the Bracers of Dexterity, but they are not essential. Go for Gauntlets of Weapon Expertise. However, remember at all times that Korgan is thoroughly evil. He will not get on with Mazzy (even though he tries to seduce her), Aerie or Keldorn. Aerie will actually leave the party if you insist on keeping Korgan. He will not mix well, and is constantly bad tempered. Korgan is undoubtedly one of the best NPCs around, but be very wary of your party make up and alignment before you take him up on his offer to join you." |
