Biography

When you ask about her recent past, Viconia snarls that it is not your place to know such things of her. There is still pride in her voice when she speaks about her Underdark home of Menzoberranzan, but you get the feeling that there is nothing left for her there, her family and House most likely victims of typically vicious Drow 'politics'. She has continued in her worship of the Night Goddess Shar, but that appears to have been the only boon to her exile. She seems sullen and bitter, and has certainly learned much of the intolerance she must face while living amongst surface peoples. Her natural abilities as a Drow have faded with time, also contributing to her lost sense of belonging.

Viconia is a romance option for male PC's of the following races : Human, Elf, Half-Elf, Half-Orc

Bardan says, "Ahh, Vicky. The sultry romance option. Also, an absolute must have for evil parties. Her stat line is strong, with a couple of flaws. Her strength is low, but this is easily fixed by an appropriate strength-enhancing item. However, her low constitution and low hitpoints are more of a problem. Before you level up, I recommend casting a couple of Draw Upon Holy Might spells. Doing so will grant her bonus permanent hitpoints. Apart from that, the rest of her stats are fantastic. her high wisdom and dexterity add much-needed clout to her AC and her spellcasting ability. Also, as an evil cleric, she can turn undead to her will, gaining valuable allies in a matter of seconds. Just be careful if you have Keldorn nearby - her turning also affects paladins.

In terms of equipment, as a cleric she can wear the best plate mails, so buff her strength up and give her a huge shield and AC buffing items. This will help negate her low hitpoints, and will enable her to walk into the midst of undead and start turning. Give her the Mace of Disruption, Crom Faeyr, Sling of Everard and the Fortress Shield. Buff her hitpoints with the Helm of Balduran or an appropriate Ioun Stone. At level 25 she will gain her holy symbol that can be worn as a ring, granting her extra spells.

Personality-wise, Vicky is a hard fit. She is evil, and will not get along at all with our two goody-two-shoes guys, Keldorn and Valygar. Aerie will not like her, nor will Jaheira or Anomen. She'll clash with just about everyone, including you! However, she is such a strong NPC that this hardly matters. Pick her up at least for a bit - it'll be worth it!"
